So Dan just to clarify, are we selecting the " stomp " as an effect for each preset either in the pre amp or the post amp position? Same as selecting a kemper effect? But as a loop either mono or stereo? And... can we also split it somehow so the drive section can be pre and say, a mod be post?

What amp were you running this into?

I played more then 20 and down around 10, they are guitars that require maintenance over time and are not for the guy that don't diy

I got one and despite all the other pedals on the board, every pedal i have during my lifetime, i respect the sounds the BE-5 and is one that sits in my collection.

The ONLY thing I wish were different is the middle EQ. I’d like it to push quite a bit more mids. Nothing an EQ pedal can’t fix. But I LOVE this amp!

I recently took the opportunity and checked various possibilities….had a Kemper active Kabinet, line6 active cabinet and a rcf active monitor. All sounded acceptable…but then i took my 40 years old Superchamp with a Celestion Vintage 60w speaker…that sounded awesome…looking for a second one to get the stereo-option. In addition to that i took my 40years old Morley amplifier/volume pedal 25/50 and connected it to a closed cabinet with two Celestion Vintage 60w speakers…blowed my mind what 50 oldfashioned transistor reinforcement pedal could achieve in combination with a Kemper stage.

Hey Dan, I am currently on the quest for a nice multifx compact processor that can do 4Cm, amp channel switching and also, like you show, using clean preamp sim because my DSL20HR don't have a real clean channel. Hey, i wonder do you use a kemper double tracker to actually play in stereo, or are your guitar sound in the middle with the effects stereo? I'am in a 2 guitwr band so no point for me doubling guitar left right, but my next band, i will be the only guitar.. also wondering where to place my guitar in a in ear mix with another guitar aswell

The footswitch should ramp up or down but it doesn't. That is stupid. But the pedal sounds pretty good. Is it stereo?

GT1000 CORE has a really annoying hiss problem when used in 4CM. It is quite perceptible when used with the drive channel of your amp. That's the reason why in the video there is a noise gate after the Send and Return block. The problem is bad digital to analog converters.

GT1000 has a design flaw. Lots of white noise/hiss introduced by the send port when you use it with 4CM.

I threw a 25w greenback in the cabinet of mine. It’s a mini blues breaker and a JTM with an FX loop.

The Belle is my favorite and I use it with my Tumnus Deluxe. But I also have the Mini Tumnus and the Moxie. This video gives some great ideas for running them together. 🙏

I'm simple rig, always on. I have a germanium mini fuzz face running (via a mini EGO compressor) into a Tumnus Deluxe into a UAFX Ruby. I play with the GTR volume to dial in the distortion/fuzz I need. While I love fuzz I would also love to have access via the same "always on" a more traditional distortion so I've spent the last year trying to investigate how to do this. I loved you video. It's amazing how many channels don't give a genuine stack comparison. Having said that it's also amazing how nobody ever shows how OD/DS pedals work at lower GTR volumes. What do you think?

I appreciate these are probably not designed for the kind of comfort you need to sleep with them in, but can you or anyone else who’s tried them commend on whether they’d be comfortable enough to sleep with one in your ear and resting against a pillow or such like?

I saw some your videos with your son so I truly believe you about in ears ...it's not easy you know for amp guys to go digital and even worse to go to in ears but even dinosaurs have to get the best of the tech we have now

I want a rotary that does the DSOTM thing- and the more I look into it, it looks like the Keeley Dark Side is about the only real option. There are plenty of rotary pedals- but they all go for the Stevie Ray/J. Scoffield thing. The Floyd rotary sounded smoother, less broken up, more organ like- but it's definitely just David and a damned good Leslie. The Leslie they had sounded particularly good to me- if it was there's- they may have borrowed it for all I know. I saw one at Abby Road Studios when Beato did his tour- always wondered if that might be it. But Idk if they even recorded there- I'm just assuming they did. I'm sure some Floyd super geek will chime in and give me all the details. Anyway- I'm going to try the EHX Lester G. and see what's up with that. The Keeley Dark Side has it for sure but- man it's steep- not a cheap pedal. Then again it gives you like 3-4 effects in one pedal so- maybe I should just breakdown and pay up huh? I am a big Keeley fan anyway- they make some really good stuff.

The Small Box seems to have great tone and a variety in gain

So don't get the tortex flex 1.4mm as it breaks strings

I gone from Dunlop 72mm nylon. To the jazz 3 1.34mm then jazz 3 88 mm tortex. Then the 88 millimetre XL jazz 3. Now the 2mm ultex jazz 3 or a 1.5 ultex flow

About the bright/tight control, the switch acts on two parts of the circuit. I believe the first part reduces the amount of low end hitting the second gain stage between C3 and C4 (same as the BE Fat switch). I believe the second part bypasses the 820 ohm cathode resistor (R16) on V2A with 680nF (C8); you’ll notice a pop when you switch it. I think this amp would benefit from an additional bright switch. The amp would begin to overlap with the JEL20. If you then bypass R13 with 470pF you’ll have something strikingly close to the dirty channel of that amp. You’d need to fully bypass R16 to really get there, this is assuming the plate voltages are well in the vicinity between the two amps.

I don’t understand the Little Sister/JTM 45 marketing comparisons. Unlike the Twin Sister/Dirty Shirley the Little Sister doesn’t have a tube rectifier or 5881s. To that end it no longer has anything in common with the JTM45. The preamp section of the Little Sister/Twin Sister/DS is very similar to a JEL-modded 2203 except voiced to be fatter and darker. That portion of the amp never bore any resemblance to that of JTM45 to begin with.
